RUBICS v0.2.0 finally here

It’s been a big journey getting RUBICS to this point, but I’m happy to announce that ver 0.2 is finally here! This update contains a few bug fixes but also a few exiting features:

  • User defined parameters that can be used in prices, quantities, event weights, and each other – giving you the ability to create systems of random variables to model true complexity.
  • The ability to create a user-defined custom PDF from a series of X and Y points, giving you the ability to model random variables whose behaviour don’t easily conform to the usual set of variables.

Some other exciting news – I’m going to be presenting RUBICS at the Economics Society of Australia CBA forum in August next month! There I will be demonstrating how RUBICS can help with delivering sophisticated analysis of some of society’s most contentious problems.

As always, looking forward to any comments, suggestions, or feedback. You can always get to me on info@econrubics.com

Until next time!

Sam
